I qualified as Legal Executive in 2001 and became a Fellow in 2002 (now Chartered Legal Executive). I have also obtained rights of advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court and am qualified under the duty scheme.

I have been working as a criminal lawyer since 1996 after a spell working in a Magistrates Court. I am also an Accredited Police Station Representative and am often called to represent clients in the police station, day and night.

I am vastly experienced in the preparation of serious cases, such as fraud, murder, serious assaults and sexual offences for trial in the Crown Court. I have represented clients being interviewed and/or prosecuted by the Crown Prosecution Service, Serious Organised Crime Unit, HMRC and DWP. I have also dealt with high profile cases that have featured on news reports.

I maintain close contact with my clients and work hard to achieve the desired result. I have a good eye for detail when preparing cases and I am experienced in dealing with vulnerable people and youths.

I am a strong and tenacious defender of my client’s interests and I am well versed in all aspects of criminal procedure and law. I have made many successful representations to the police and to prosecuting authorities, which have led to cases being dismissed.

I am happy to undertake work on a private or legal aid basis.
